A Madison Police Sergeant is recovering after getting dragged by a suspect’s vehicle.
The MPD Sergeant responded to a domestic violence call yesterday morning when he caught up with the suspect and a passenger in a vehicle in a parking lot on East Washington Avenue. The officer managed to get the passenger in the vehicle to safety but was then dragged around the parking lot before the suspect drove off and has yet to be found and arrested. The police Sergeant was treated at the hospital and released to recover at home.
