Wisconsin’s special elections investigator is no longer in contempt of court, but the Dane County judge hearing his case continues to be furious.
Judge Frank Remington yesterday said former Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman satisfied a court order to search for missing documents, and lifted his contempt order. But the judge then ripped Gableman, saying his investigation ‘accomplished nothing.’ The judge Gableman didn’t interview any witnesses, didn’t keep weekly reports, and spent most of his time talking with out-of-state attorneys about other reports on the 2020 election.
Wisconsin’s Assembly Speaker fired Gableman last Friday.
