Wisconsin’s Republican U.S. Senator is tying border security and immigration reforms together.
Specifically, Senator Ron Johnson yesterday said he won’t vote for any immigration reforms unless and until the southern border is secure. Johnson says he supports modernizing the country’s immigration laws, but says the Biden Administration must stop the flood of people who are entering this country illegally first. Johnson says it’s ‘unfortunate’ that illegal immigration has stopped any chance at immigration reform in the country.
