Record Turnout Expected in Fall Election

Wisconsin’s election administrator expects a record turnout this fall.

Wisconsin Elections Commission boss Meagan Wolfe yesterday said the preliminary numbers from last week’s primary election point to a record turnout. She expects the same in November. Wolfe said that’s going to put an emphasis on election security. She says the state is working with local election clerks to be ready with more ballots and more training. Republicans at the Wisconsin Capitol have been critical of Wolfe over election security since the 2020 election.
