There won’t be any Pride flags in classrooms in Kettle Moraine Schools this year.
The district’s school board last night voted to stick with its ban on politics in the classroom, including a ban on Pride flags. Several students and parents spoke at last night’s meeting. Some want to see more activism in schools while others said schools should be for learning, not advocacy. The ACLU of Wisconsin says it is looking into Kettle Moraine’s policy.
