A Madison man who fled to Tennessee after a January murder in La Crosse is out of jail on 10 thousand-dollars bond.
A judge in La Crosse lowered 35-year-old Karvel Freeman’s bond last week, it was originally set at a half-million dollars. Freeman is accused of gunning down a man at a party back in January. He fled to Tennessee before being arrested back in March. He’s now under house arrest in Madison with an order not to leave the state. A second suspect in the case remains on the run.
