Visit Eau Claire announced that with the addition of sculptures over the past few weeks, the
Eau Claire Sculpture tour is officially taking the claim as the largest outdoor rotating sculpture tour in the nation!
“We are beyond excited to officially
claim the title as the number one largest
outdoor sculpture tour in the nation.”
With the additional sculptures, there is a total of 87 sculptures on the Eau Claire Sculpture tour.
“We are beyond excited to officially claim the title as the number one largest outdoor sculpture tour in the nation,” said Julie Pangallo, Visit Eau Claire’s Public Arts Manager. “We are also so thankful for not only the regional and national artists who contributed to the tour, but also our community who has sponsored and supported it so much.”
Sculpture Tour Eau Claire is a non-profit organization with the goal of enhancing the quality of life in Eau Claire by using the arts to promote tourism, economic development, health, and education. They seek to bring the work of national and international artists to Eau Claire, as well as promote local and regional art and artists. Locals and visitors can vote each year for their favorite sculpture for the People’s Choice Award. The winning sculpture is then purchased by Sculpture Tour Eau Claire and is donated to the city’s permanent collection.
