Voter turnout for Tuesday’s primaries hit a 40-year high.
The unofficial results from Election Day show 26 percent of voters cast a ballot, that’s a near-record for an August primary. Over 690-thousand Republicans and over a half-million Democrats voted on Tuesday.
The campaign for governor is in full swing.
Governor Tony Evers made a campaign stop in Eau Claire yesterday. He talked-up his priorities of abortion and education. The governor is trying to show the difference between him and the Republican nominee Tim Michels. Voters will pick between the two of them in November.
