Prosecutors in Chippewa County are not taking a woman to trial for stabbing her boyfriend.
The D.A.’s office yesterday said it won’t file charges against Leah Mickelson. Police say she stabbed her boyfriend to death back in May after he spent the night drinking, then came home and beat her. There’s video of the man chasing Mickelson before he’s stabbed. Prosecutors say they are moving-on from the case.
