Madison Police say they’ve arrested a girl after she tried to exchange a puppy that was in a car when it was stolen last week for a cash reward.
Police have not disclosed the girl’s age. They say the owners of the dog were contacted by someone after the reward was announced. The puppy’s owners and police met at West Towne Mall to make the exchange and that’s when the girl was arrested. She’s accused or receiving stolen property.
