We now know what caused a semi truck driver to crash into a home in Winnebago County.
The sheriff’s office says the driver was on Interstate-41 in the Town of Vinton last week when he fainted, went into a ditch, crashed through a fence, and hit a home on Green Valley Road. An eight-month-old boy was in the house at the time of the crash and died. The sheriff’s office says alcohol or drug use isn’t suspected.
