Wisconsin has passed a coronavirus vaccine milestone.
The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said doctors and nurses have now handed-out over 10 million coronavirus vaccine doses. DHS says just under 65 percent of people in the state have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine, DHS says just over 61 percent of people have gotten both shots, and just 35 percent of people in the state have gotten a booster. Most of the people who’ve gotten their coronavirus shots are older. DHS says there continues to be a wide difference in vaccination rates between whites and blacks, and people in Milwaukee and Madison versus the rest of the state.
