Police in Poynette say another child is responsible for the weekend shooting of a seven-year-old in the city.
Police say a boy under the age of ten shot a seven-year-old girl in the leg Saturday afternoon. She’s expected to survive. An adult man has been arrested in connection with the shooting on tentative charges of leaving or storing a loaded gun within the reach of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia.
