The National Association of Town Watch (NATW) is sponsoring a nationwide crime and drug prevention program called “National Night Out”, America’s Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 2 from 5:30pm-8:00pm at Carson Park in Eau Claire. This is the 28th Anniversary of the event. The event is FREE to the public.
The National Night Out event provides a unique opportunity for the City of Eau Claire to sponsor its 28th Annual Night Out on Crime event to promote cooperative, police-community crime prevention and healthy community efforts.
The Eau Claire Police Department, Eau Claire Parks, Recreation and Forestry, Visit Eau Claire, Children’s Museum, Eau Claire YMCA, DECI, and Eau Claire neighborhoods play a vital role in assisting the Eau Claire Police Department by supporting a healthy and safe community through joint crime and drug prevention efforts, along with participation in healthy activities and wellness programs.
This event is supported by many community agencies, private businesses, and individuals. Participants can
experience many fun games, face painting, giveaways, interaction with local Emergency Response and Public Service vehicles, inflatables, food, beverages, music and more.
