Yesterday was the five year anniversary of the original Foxconn deal in the state.
Then-Governor Walker agreed to three billion-dollars in tax breaks for Foxconn if it delivered on its promise to create 13 thousand jobs in the state. Those jobs never materialized. But Foxconn was also never paid, until Governor Evers signed a new deal with the company last year that gave Foxconn 80 million-dollars for 14 hundred promised jobs.
