Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and state Attorney General Josh Kaul are suing 18 companies accusing them of putting forever chemicals in land, property, and natural resources.
The suits were announced today in Dane County. Evers says businesses like DuPont, 3M, Tyco Fire Products, and Chemguard should have known or did know their products contained PFAS which would damage public health. They’re hoping for punitive damages plus recovering restoration and loss-of-use damages.
