The NRA wants you to know it has never endorsed Tim Michels in the republican race for governor.
The group yesterday blasted Michels after a campaign mailer falsely claimed that Michels had earned the NRA’s endorsement in the race. The NRA says it has not endorsed anyone, and won’t pick a candidate in the race. Michels’ campaign says there was a mistake on the flyer, and apologized.
