The family of the suspect in Milwaukee’s weekend shootout at the El Rey grocery store says he was paranoid, wanted by the police, and wearing a ski mask when the shooting happened Saturday.
Fox6 spoke with Luis Lorenzo’s family yesterday. They say he was wanted on both state and federal drug charges, but claim he was profiled by security guards Saturday because he wore a backpack and a ski mask into the store. Milwaukee Police say Lorenzo shot and killed a security guard at the store before another security guard shot and killed Lorenzo. The case remains under investigation.
