Victim Identified After Reports of Body in Ditch

No foul play is suspected after a body was discovered in a ditch.

On July 9,2022 at approximately 9:54 a.m. the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office received a report of what appeared to be a deceased subject laying in the ditch approximately ½ mile east of County Highway-E on County Highway-O near the Black River Bridge in the Town of Little Black, Taylor County. Taylor County deputies arrived on scene and confirmed a middle-aged white male was laying in the ditch near the water and was deceased.

The Taylor County Sheriff’s Office investigation into the incident has determined the deceased to be 48-year-old Keith A. Binder of Medford Wi. Preliminary findings have indicated the victim, Keith Binder had been dead for up to 24 hours at the location he was found. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine the cause of death but at this time no foul play is expected.
