The Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services is stepping down.
A statement on Friday from Governor Tony Evers says DSPS Secretary Dawn Crim is leaving her post at the state’s professional licensing agency as of August 1st. She was appointed by Governor Evers in 2019. Crim says much has been done during her three and a half year tenure to bring about the agency’s focus on “ensuring safety and supporting the economy.” DSPS Assistant Deputy Secretary Dan Hereth will be taking over as Secretary.
