We now know the victim and the suspect in Altoona’s deadly weekend hit-and-run.
Police yesterday said 29-year-old Jonathan Peacock was killed while walking down Highway 12 early Sunday morning. Altoona Police say 35-year-old Brendan Barkovich is the one who hit him. Police are asking for hit-and-run charges as well as cocaine possession charges against Barkovich. Prosecutors have not yet filed formal charges in the case.
