Over the past 14 months, the Health Department has been partnering with area school districts to host on-site vaccination clinics. Health Department staff and volunteers were able to vaccinate individuals because of the vaccination clinics at the School District of Altoona, Eau Clare Area School District and Fall Creek School District.
In Eau Claire County, 35% of children ages 5-11 and 69% of kids ages 12-17 have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. As of June 22, 2022, anyone age 6 months or older can get their first dose of vaccine against COVID-19.
