Carson Park Plans Day of 4th Fun!

Carson Park, named after Eau Claire lumberman William E. Carson, is a 134-acre peninsula surrounded by Half Moon Lake and is home to the Chippewa Valley Museum, the Wisconsin Logging Museum, the Chippewa Valley Railroad, and more. You’re invited to experience the attractions in Carson Park this summer through three special events – join the Carson Park Experience!

  • 12:00 – 5:00pm Chippewa Valley Railroad, Wisconsin Logging Museum and Chippewa Valley Museum will be open. Enjoy complimentary experiences throughout the park –  Admission applies for Train rides and Museum Exhibits.
  • 11:30am – 2:30pm Food truck by tennis courts
  • 12:00 – 2:00pm Music on Chippewa Valley Museum lawn, featuring the Eau Claire municipal band and Sliced Bread Jug Band
  • 12:00 – 4:00pm Beer Garden on Chippewa Valley Museum front lawn
  • 12:00 – 5:00pm Train Tower Tours by Chippewa Valley Railroad
  • 12:00 – 5:00pm Operation Life Saver Railroad Safety Booth at Chippewa Valley Railroad
  • 5:00pm Eau Claire Express baseball game
  • 10 pm: FIREWORKS!
