It will be at least September before we know if the trial for the teenager accused of killing Lily Peters will be tried as an adult.
A judge in Chippewa Falls on Friday delayed making the decision in the case. The 14-year-old suspect is currently facing adult charges, but his lawyers may try and change that. Investigators say the teen beat Lily, strangled her, then assaulted her dead body before hiding her under some leaves along a walking trail in Chippewa Falls back in April.
