We might be used to hearing the crack of the bat this time of year, but for this week’s Friday Feel Good we head inside for the squeak of the sneakers.
There was a basketball game underway when a ref dropped to the floor in need of medical attention. That’s when a player on the team made an all-star play.
Now, that Ohio basketball player is being praised for stopping mid-game and performing lifesaving CPR while waiting for an ambulance.
Myles Copeland is not only a basketball player but a firefighter, and now a local hero as well. He was able to perform CPR on the referee and by the time responders were on scene, the ref was able to talk with them.
Proof that Myles is a game changer both on the court, and off.
