Wisconsin’s election managers are trying to get ahead of any anger about this year’s elections.
Wisconsin Elections Commission administrator Meagan Wolfe told reporters yesterday that there are no locked doors or dark corners in elections in the state. She explained that most of the work for election in Wisconsin is done at the local level, and said the Elections Commission is merely there to support local clerks.
Wolfe and the Elections Commission, however, continue to face questions about the guidance and election rulings they issued ahead of the presidential vote in 2020. Republican lawmakers say Wolfe and the Commission have never answered those questions.
