The city of Eau Claire is reminding people to clean-up after their dogs.
Parks manager Steve Plaza yesterday said it’s a public health hazard to leave dog poop in city parks and in other people’s yards. Eau Claire allows for 200 dollar fines for anyone who doesn’t clean-up after their dogs, but Plaza said he’d rather see people just clean-up. Plaza says police have issued just seven dog poop tickets over the past four years.
