Minnesota officials are making a pitch for the 2027 World’s Fair.
They made their bid yesterday for the 93-day event that could attract about 140-thousand visitors a day to a designated site near the Mall of America in Bloomington. Minnesota is up against places including Serbia’s capital city of Belgrade and Spain’s southern coastal city of Malaga. The winner will be decided in June of next year.
