A deer is behind a fatal crash in Dunn County.
An eastbound passenger vehicle struck a deer and stopped on the right shoulder of interstate 94. The passenger vehicle then traveled in reverse into the left lane where it was struck by an eastbound commercial motor vehicle. A 57yr old male occupant in the passenger vehicle, 57 year old Rufus Moore, was fatally injured. A second occupant of the passenger vehicle, a 55yr old male, received minor injury and was transported to a local hospital. The 51yr old female operator of the commercial motor vehicle was uninjured. The Wisconsin State Patrol is conducting the crash investigation and crash reconstruction.
