On this Fathers Day weekend we celebrate all the hero’s in our lives, those who answer to “dad” and many dad -types who don’t wear a cape or have a fancy uniform.
For this week’s Friday Feel Good, we meet a real life hero! An off-duty New York City firefighter rescued a 3-year-old from a burning building over the weekend after springing into action as he passed the scene of a fire.
Stefon Douglas had none of the proper attire or equipment except luckily he had his department-issued breathing apparatus in his car, once he sprung into action he went into the building and came out with a little girl safe in his arms. Proving that hero’s are all around us every day.
