There is a warning about storm repair scams.
The state’s Department of Trade and Consumer Protection says storms like Wisconsin saw this week always bring-out fly-by-night repair crews who rip people off. The state says always make sure the repair company is legitimate, licensed, and insured, and never pay for work before it’s done.
