They are still trying to figure out what to do about the pool in Chippewa Falls.
City Council member Christopher Gilliam yesterday announced a new committee to study the future of the Bernard F. Willi Pool. The city’s parks and rec department says it would cost too much to repair the pool, but a group of locals are pushing to save the pool. It’s scheduled to close for good after this summer. Gilliam says it’s not going to be easy to find a solution, and says it may be more difficult to find the money to keep the pool open.
