The folks who don’t want a new bottled water plant in Eau Claire have not changed their minds.
A few dozen people turned-out for a protest last night ahead of tonight’s city council vote on a new Niagara Waters plant. The advocates fear the plant will use too much of Eau Claire’s water. City managers say there is plenty of water to go around and that turning-down the 100 million-dollar investment the plant would bring could give Eau Claire a bad-for-business reputation.
