Violence continues in one of our big cities.
Milwaukee’s weekend shooting tally stands at six wounded and one killed. Milwaukee Police say there were six shootings between Saturday and early this morning, including a double shooting Sunday afternoon. Police say they arrested three suspects in that case. The deadly shooting came about 8 a.m. Saturday morning when police say someone opened fire on a 51-year-old woman who was riding in a car.
This as there is another side to the violence and demonstrations stretched across the Union this weekend.
Milwaukee is on the list of cities with weekend gun violence protests. A couple of hundred people marched from the Milwaukee County Courthouse to the Deer District on Saturday, demanding that someone do something about gun violence.
Most of the crowd said there need to be new gun laws in this country.
