There won’t be a trial for the man accused of running down a pedestrian in Lake Hallie back in 2020.
Court records show that 40-year-old Christopher Peterson pleaded no contest to the charges in the case. Police say he hit and killed 60-year-old Dennis Mohr in May of 2020. Peterson pleaded no contest to homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle, in exchange two other charges were dropped. Peterson will be sentenced in August.
