City leaders in Eau Claire are trying to calm fears about a proposed bottled water plant by talking about jobs and new investments.
The city hosted a listening session last night. We’ll show you different sides so you can decide.
City manager Stephanie Hirsch told the crowd that Eau Claire is not in a financial position to walk away from a 100 million-dollar investment and jobs that pay about 60 thousand-dollars a year. A number of community activists are worried about the city’s water supply and climate change.
A vote on the plant could come next week.
