There’s another warning about the high risk for wildfires in Wisconsin.
The state’s Department of Natural Resources yesterday said 52 of the state’s 72 counties are at a very high risk of wildfire, while the other 20 are looking at a high risk. DNR has suspended debris burns in 36 counties across the state. So far, fire crews have had to fight 450 fires burning over 630 acres this year.
