WI DNR Confirms Bird Flu in Fox

State agriculture and natural resources officials say three foxes have tested positive for bird flu.

Lindsey Long with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources says the foxes most likely fed on carcasses of wild birds that were infected.   The report says the infected foxes are in different sections of the state.  So far in Wisconsin there have been no reports of any domestic mammalian animals that have come down with the avian flu.
