There’s progress, but no deal yet.
Neighbors and GFL continued their talks about a new landfill near Seven Mile Creek yesterday. Some of the folks who live near the current landfill don’t want to see the company expand, while others say they are looking for a fair payout to deal with the noise, smell, and traffic.
GFL managers say they’re willing to work with neighbors to see what can be done.
