One Republican lawmaker is looking for the next step after Governor Evers vetoed a plan that would have allowed nurses in the state to do more.
State Senator Patrick Testin will hold a news conference with Wisconsin’s Nurses Association today. They are looking for a way forward after the governor turned down a proposed law that would have allowed advanced practice nurses to work in hospitals and clinics with less supervision. Testin has said the plan would have allowed for more nurses to see more patients, and provide more care to more people across the state.
