There’s now a ban on moving chickens across the state of Wisconsin.
The state’s Department of Agriculture yesterday ordered a ban on the transfer of all domestic chicken flocks in an attempt to slow the spread of the bird flu. That means no chickens at shows, fairs, or swap meets in the state. So far, there are bird flu cases at farms or in backyard flocks in eleven counties. The state has had to put-down over two-point-seven million birds because of the flu.
