There is a claim of responsibility, and a threat of more violence in Madison’s pro-life office firebombing.
A group called Jane’s Revenge yesterday took credit for the attack at the Wisconsin family Action office on Sunday. The group said online that the attack was ‘only a warning,’ and said there would be more attacks if ‘all anti-choice groups, fake clinics, and violent anti-choice groups’ are not disbanded within the next month. Madison Police say they are aware of the claim, and the new threat, but they are not saying if Jane’s Revenge is responsible for Sunday’s attack.
On the national stage, a vote is just hours away on whether to legalize abortion.
Senate Democrats are hoping to save the historic Roe v. Wade decision and turn it into a federal law. The last attempt failed and Republicans are expected to block it again. But Majority Leader Chuck Schumer says at least this will force every senator to show where they stand on the issue. The Supreme Court is aiming to end abortion rights as early as next month.
