Madison Police say yesterday’s fire at the local Wisconsin Family Action office was not an accident. Investigators are treating the case as arson. Madison Police are also looking into who spraypainted the threat ‘If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either’ on the side of the building. A group called Anarchy 1312 took responsibility for the fire. Madison Police said in a statement that they are calling in federal partners in the case.
Wisconsin Family Action’s Julaine Appling said that she will not be frightened or bullied by the fire or the threats.
