The Memorial High School SAFE (Students Advocating for Excellence) organization, Mayo Clinic and other community partners are sponsoring a mock car crash event in the Memorial parking lot beginning at 9:30 am on Thursday, May 12
The event is in advance of Memorial’s prom on Saturday, May 14, and is meant to create awareness on decisions that can affect every aspect of students’ lives. After the mock car crash, Memorial juniors and seniors will attend an event in the auditorium to help process what they’ve seen and hear from speakers who have been affected by accidents caused by impaired and distracted driving.
