The 14-year-old accused of carjacking an elderly woman at knife-point, then sexually assaulting her will be tried as an adult.
A judge in Waukesha yesterday said the charges against Khalil Perry are serious enough to warrant a trial in adult court. Police say Perry carjacked the 87-year-old victim in front of the Waukesha library back in November. Officers say he then assaulted her in her car, and threatened to kill her family if she went to the police. The move to adult court could mean a much stiffer sentence if he’s convicted, perhaps as much as 20-years behind bars.
