The state of Wisconsin remembers former First Lady Elaine Schreiber who passed away this week.
Schreiber dedicated her life to helping families impacted by Alzheimer’s, the very disease she suffered through late in life. Elaine’s husband, former Governor Martin Schreiber documented his wife’s struggle with Alzheimer’s and dementia in his 2017 book “My Two Elaines.” Elaine Schreiber passed in her sleep early Monday morning at the Elaine’s Hope Memory Care Assisted Living Center in Wauwatosa.
