Police in Eau Claire say a man has been charged with selling drugs from his clothing store and making threats with a gun inside his business.
The storeowner — 42-year-old Duane Perkins of Eau Claire — has been charged in Eau Claire County Court with seven charges of felony drug possession and sales. He’s also facing charges of running a drug trafficking operation and recklessly endangering safety. His preliminary hearing is set for May. If convicted, Perkins faces up to 78 years in prison.
