Make it a habit to safely dispose of expired or unwanted medications during the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day! Dropping off medication is anonymous, easy, and free.
This year’s event will be held on Saturday, April 30th from 10am to 2pm in Altoona at the Police Department (1904 Spooner Ave) and in Eau Claire at Marshfield Medical Center-Eau Claire (curbside service at 2116 Craig Rd, Medical Offices, Door B).
Medications accepted include prescription and over-the-counter medications, ointments, patches, non-aerosol sprays, inhalers, creams, vials, and pet medications.
• Blister packages are acceptable without
the medications being removed.
• Liquid medications, creams, and sprays
must be in their original packaging.
