After a search this morning, we are updating the case of a missing child in our area. The worst possible outcome was confirmed by police this afternoon.
Chippewa Falls Police confirmed during a press conference that a body was located this morning and confirmed to be that of 10 year old Lilliana (Lily) Peters.
Authorities are currently treating it as a homicide investigation and following multiple leads.
