A California man with a history of making threats is now looking at charges in Eau Claire County for the note authorities say he sent the city’s school board president.
Prosecutors filed charges of making terrorist threats against 33-year-old Jeremy Hanson from Los Alamitos, California. Investigators say he threatened to kill school board president Tim Nordin back in March. Hanson was allegedly upset about Eau Claire School’s policy on gender.
Both Eau Claire Police and the FBI say Hanson has sent similar threats in the past.
